Violence Against Women and Girls Advocacy
We provide specialist advocacy support to migrant women who are facing any form of gender-based violence and domestic abuse, including but not limited to:
Physical Abuse
Modern Day Slavery
Human Trafficking
Sexual Abuse
Coercive control and emotional abuse
Financial abuse
Honour based violence
Forced marriage
Immigration abuse’
If you have immigration concerns, such as being dependent on your partner’s visa or facing no recourse to public funds, you may feel trapped.
We want you to know that there is hope and we are here to support you. This support might involve:
Safety planning with you to ensure you are safe;
Helping you access legal advice (family, immigration and criminal) and support;
Helping you to access support from other services, such as the police, refuges, the local authority and social services;
Providing you with practical and emotional support;
Internally referring you into Safety4Sisters wider holistic support services, including group work and social activities.

How to get support
Due to high demand and limited capacity, we only provide advocacy support to women living in Greater Manchester. If you do not live in Greater Manchester but require support, we will advise and signpost you to other appropriate services.
If you are a professional and wish to make a referral to Safety4Sisters, please download and complete our agency referral form then email it to info@safety4sisters.org. We will aim to respond to you as soon as we can.
If you are a woman that wishes to access our support, please contact our helpline on 0161 464 9505 between the hours of 10am – 4pm.
If you are at risk or feel in danger, please contact the police by calling 999 immediately.
