VAWG Advocate
£27,711 - £29,572 (depending on experience)
FT: 35 Hours
1 year fixed term contract, with extension subject to funding
Location: Greater Manchester. Based at the Safety4Sisters office in Hulme, with some outreach at our Refuge as required.
Working as part of our friendly, dynamic Advocacy Team, you will provide information, advice, support and advocacy work on all forms of gender based violence faced by migrant women. This could include forced marriage, rape and sexual abuse, honour based crimes and related issues such as immigration/asylum and no recourse to public funds, matrimonial and children, housing and homelessness, mental health and financial matters. Your casework will focus on women with complex needs.
